A 26-year-old Hanover Park man was flown in critical condition following a crash Friday morning near Hebron, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The Hebron-Alden-Greenwood Fire Protection District and the sheriff’s office were called about 7:15 a.m. to the 11400 block of Price Road, southwest of Hebron, for the report of a crash involving a 2023 Isuzu box truck and a tree, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
A preliminary investigation indicated the driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was eastbound on Price Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree on the left side of the road, according to the release. He was extricated from the truck by fire district personnel and flown to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Major Traffic Crash Investigation Unit continues to investigated the crash.
