Crystal Lake-based Nunda Masonic Lodge #169 has awarded its Community Builder Award to Boy Scout leader Daniel J. O’Connor. O’Connor has been a Scout Leader for 27 years and committee chair for more than a decade.

The Community Builder Award was initiated to recognize community leaders who have distinguished themselves through local service activities and whose behaviors match the precepts and ideals of Freemasonry – specifically, a devotion to their community and a commitment to helping build and nurture better lives.
