Five people with addresses in the same block where heavy police activity took place in Crystal Lake Wednesday night have been accused of drug possession, according to McHenry County court records.

Joseph A. Strope, 38; Kristin M. Meneghetti, 39; Reesa A. Pam, 36; Dylan W. Eibisch, 24; and Cary Cohen, 37, were charged with drug possession, a Class 4 felony, according to court records.

All five of them are listed in court records at an address in the 100 block of South Heather Drive in Crystal Lake. In other court records, Pam is listed as homeless.

Cohen was charged with possession of buprenorphine and naloxone, while the others were accused of possessing less than 15 grams of cocaine, according to court records. Strope also was charged with possessing a firearm with a voided FOID card, a Class 3 felony, according to court records.

Pam was charged with giving a “false or fictitious name” to authorities while being detained during the execution of a search warrant, according to the court documents.

Crystal Lake officials put out an alert about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to avoid the area due to police activity. Police called off the alert about 9 p.m. Wednesday. The complaints were filed about midnight, according to court records.

The five made initial court appearances Thursday afternoon and all were released pretrial with conditions, records show.

Another recent drug-related arrest was also potentially linked to the same Crystal Lake address, according to McHenry County Jail records. Jail and court records indicate Devin T. Hines, 25, was taken into custody Tuesday and charged Wednesday with possession of cocaine and possession of fentanyl. Jail records list Hines’s address at the same Crystal Lake location, although courts records list an Algonquin address.
