Huntley 48, New Trier 32: At Carpentersville, Anna Campanelli scored a game-high 23 points to lift the Red Raiders into the semifinals of the Dundee-Crown Komaromy Holiday Classic. Lana Hobday added 11 points for Huntley, which will face Stevenson at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Libertyville 52, Cary-Grove 34: At Libertyville, the Trojans fell to the host Wildcats at the Libertyville Winter Classic. C-G (8-6) will face Guilford at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Burlington Central 61, St. Francis 59 (OT): At Lombard, Aubrey LeFleur drained a 25-footer at the buzzer to force overtime then paced the Rockets to the win over the Spartans at the Montini Christmas Tournament.

Central (4-9) will face St. Laurence for consolation third place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Hampshire 53, Buffalo Grove 44: At Carpentersville, Mikala Amegasse scored a game-best 20 points to lead the Whip-Purs to the win at the Komaromy Holiday Classic. Chloe Van Horn added nine points and Jiselle Lopez eight for Hampshire (4-8), which will face Lake Forest at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Lake Forest 57, Dundee-Crown 28: At Carpentersville, Olivia Rodriguez had eight points and 10 rebounds to lead the Chargers at the Komaromy Holiday Classic. D-C (1-10) will face Buffalo Grove at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Peoria Notre Dame 75, Marian Central Catholic 25: At Rockford, Juliette Huff scored 17 points to lead the Hurricanes at Boylans' Reindeer Games.

Kaneland 69, Marian Central Catholic 27: At Rockford, the Hurricanes dropped their second game of the day at the Reindeer Games. Marian (7-7) will face Grant at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

De La Salle 42, Jacobs 28: At Wheaton, the Golden Eagles dropped their consolation semifinal to the Meteors at Wheaton North’s Bill Neibch Tournament. Jacobs (3-8) will face Glenbard North to close out the tournament on Saturday.

Boys basketball

Hampshire 66, Streamwood 38: At Wheeling, Ryan Prowicz scored 18 points as the Whip-Purs earned their first win at the Wheeling Hardwood Classic. Chayse Gray added 10 points for Hampshire (4-10). The Whips will face Maine West at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

McHenry 67, Rockford Jefferson 50: At Aurora, the Warriors advanced to the championship of the East Aurora Holiday Tournament with a win over the J-Hawks. McHenry (11-1) will face Hope Academy at 5:30 p.m. Saturday for the title. Adam Anwar led McHenry with 22 points. Connor McLean scored 16 and Caleb Jett added 10 for the Warriors.

Huntley 64, Naperville Central 44: At DeKalb, Christian Wilson led a balanced Red Raiders attack with 13 points as Huntley advanced Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic. Logan Darragh added 10 points and Sheldon Aninagyei-Bonsu contributed eight points and 11 boards for the Red Raiders (4-7).

Huntley 73, Springfield Southeast 46: At DeKalb, Wilson led the Red Raiders with 23 points and Noah Cook added 21 as Huntley moved into the consolation championship game against Dundee-Crown at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Huntley improved to 5-7.

North Boone 38, Harvard 29: At Poplar Grove, Harvard fell to the host Vikings at the North Boone Christmas Tournament.

Harvard 42, Durand 37: At Poplar Grove, the Hornets rebounded to win their second game of the day at the North Boone Christmas Tournament.

Dundee-Crown 40, Intrinsic Downtown 26: At DeKalb, the Chargers won their game at the Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic.

Dundee-Crown 69, Thornridge 64: At DeKalb, the Chargers (5-6) moved into the consolation championship game of the Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic with a win over the Falcons.

Marian Central Catholic 72, Kennedy 53: At Elgin, Finn Pivnicka led the way for the Hurricanes with 26 points as Marian picked up the win at the Elgin Christmas Tournament. Stef Stojich added 19 points and Colin Kowalsky 18 for the Hurricanes (5-10), who will face Schaumburg Christian on Saturday.

Woodstock 68, St. Edward 57: At Elgin, Max Beard scored 20 points and brought in six rebounds as the Blue Streaks won at the Elgin Holiday Tournament. Liam Laidig added 15 points and seven boards and Collin Greenlee chipped in with 11 points for the Streaks (6-6).

Woodstock will wrap up the Elgin Tournament Saturday against Harvest Christian.

Fenton 54, Richmond-Burton 51: At Marengo, the Rockets fell to the Bison at the Marengo E.C. Nichols holiday Tournament. R-B (7-3) will face Stillman Valley for third place at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Glenbard South 51, Woodstock North 27: at Marengo, the Thunder fell to 0-3 at the E.C. Nichols Tournament. Woodstock North (1-7) will face Crystal Lake Central at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Crystal Lake Central 74, Marengo 38: At Marengo, Danny Spychala and Avery Lee each scored 13 points to lead a balanced attack for the Tigers in a E.C. Nichols Tournament win. Crystal Lake Central also received 11 points from Johnny Geisser and nine from Michael Shanahan.

Larkin 59, Prairie Ridge 55: At Algonquin, Eli Loeding poured in a game-high 29 points as the Wolves lost on the final day of the Jacobs’ Hinkle Holiday Classic. Ben Gablenz added 18 for PR (4-9).

Grant 72, Johnsburg 65: At Algonquin, Jayce Schmitt hit six 3-pointers on his way to 29 points as the Skyhawks fell in the consolation championship game to the Bulldogs at the Hinkle Holiday Classic. Schmitt earned all-tournament honors for the Skyhawks (5-8).

Jacobs 64, Naperville North 55: At Algonquin, Ben Jurzak scored 22 points to lead the host Golden Eagles to a seventh-place finish at the Hinkle Holiday Classic. Samson Averehi added 12 as Jacobs improved to 8-4.

Boys wrestling

Palatine Invitational: At Palatine, Richmond-Burton captured the team title at the 69th annual Berman Holiday Classic. Lelan Nelson captured the title at 106 pounds, Emmett Nelson did the same at 144, and Blake Livdahl took honors at 175. Shane Falasca, Colin Kraus, and Clayton Madula finished second for the Rockets.

Girls wrestling

Oswego 54, McHenry 30: At Carl Stream, the Warriors took second at the Glenbard North dual falling in the dual meet final to the Panthers. Madalynn Sima, Nala Hernandez, Aika Villa, Alexa Colin-Garcia and Natalie Corona won their matches in the final dual.

McHenry 48, Glenbard North 30: At Carol Stream, Sima, Colin-Garcia, Tania Garcia, Evelyn Aguilera, Mia Alatorre, Bianca Manglindan, Hanah Falster and Melissa Guzman were winners for McHenry.

McHenry 60, Larkin 18: At Carol Stream, Sima, Garcia, Hernandez, Alatorre, Colin-Garcia, Manglindan, Falster, Piper West, Gwen Smith, and Melissa Guzman won matches for McHenry.

Boys swimming

Boylan Bash: At Rockford, Huntley swam second to DeKalb/Sycamore co-co at the Boylan Bash. Jayden Abbott won the 100-yard butterfly and took second in the 100-yard freestyle to lead the Red Raiders.

Woodstock North’s top finisher was Landon Beltran in the 100-yard freestyle. The meet will continue Saturday.
