McHenry 55, Dundee-Crown 41: At Carpentersville, the Warriors overcame a 25-21 halftime deficit to beat the Chargers in their Fox Valley Conference game. McHenry’s Caleb Jett led all scorers with 22 points, Adam Anwar added 10 points and Marko Stojich had seven.
Dundee-Crown was led by Jared Russell with 17 points and four 3s. Rasheed Trice tossed in eight points.
Crystal Lake South 56, Huntley 47: At Huntley, Carson Trivellini led the Gators with 13 points and four steals in the FVC win over the Red Raiders. AJ Demirov had 12 points, five rebounds and five assists, Tony Santarelli posted 10 points and seven rebounds and Cooper Buelna had nine points and four assists.
Christian Wilson had 22 points and five 3-pointers to lead Huntley. Logan Darragh added nine points and eight rebounds and Sheldon Bonsu had eight rebounds and seven assists.
Cary-Grove 58, Crystal Lake Central 33: At Crystal Lake, Adam Bauer had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the Trojans' FVC win. AJ Berndt added 13 points and five steals and Justice German chipped in nine points on three 3s.
Girls basketball
Belvidere 46, Crystal Lake South 39: At Crystal Lake, Laken LePage poured in 21 points, but the Gators fell to the Bucs in the nonconference game. Tessa Melhuish grabbed 15 rebounds and Riley Travis had six points and seven rebounds off the bench.
Byron 46, Marian Central 27: At Byron, Juliette Huff led the Hurricanes with 13 points in their nonconference loss to the Tigers.
North Boone 41, Richmond-Burton 21: At Richmond, Meadow Rosendahl had six points in the Rockets’ nonconference loss to the Vikings
Boys bowling
Woodstock co-op 3,247, Burlington Central 2,896: At Four Seasons in Sycamore, Sonny Marsalla rolled a match-high 639 series for Woodstock co-op in their Fox Valley/Kishwaukee River Conference dual win. Marsalla also led all bowlers with a 248 high game. Max Haggerty added a 588 series and Noah Rodriguez had a 550.
Central was led by Aiden Espiritu’s 591 series and 233 high game.
