Boys basketball
Johnsburg 68, Marengo 45: At Johnsburg, Trey Toussaint buried six 3-pointers and scored 18 points as he led the Skyhawks to the Kishwaukee River Conference win. Jayce Schmitt added 10 points as Johnsburg.
Ollie Nichols led Marengo with 10 points.
Woodstock North 54, Harvard 32: At Harvard, Colin Brodzik scored a team-high 14 points for the Thunder in their KRC win against the Hornets. Zaiden Ness added 13 for North.
Harvard was led by Adam Cooke with 20 points.
Woodstock 48, Plano 44: At Woodstock, senior Collin Greenlee scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Blue Streaks topped the Reapers in KRC action. Joey Nitz added nine points and Max Beard had seven for Woodstock.
Sandwich 72, Richmond-Burton 55: At Richmond, the Rockets fell to the Indians in KRC play.
Girls basketball
Cary-Grove 46, Burlington Central 16: At the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ellie Mjaanes had 21 points and four steals for the Trojans, who cruised in the Fox Valley Conference game.
C-G (13-6, 7-1 FVC) scored the game’s first 16 points. Mjaanes, who shot 8 of 14 from the floor with three 3-pointers, scored 13 points in the second quarter in helping the Trojans take a 31-5 lead into halftime.
Sam Skerl added 13 points, five rebounds and three steals for C-G. Kennedy Manning had four points and six steals, part of 23 turnovers forced by the Trojans.
Central (4-14, 2-7 FVC) didn’t score until Maggie Shell hit a short jumper with 5:48 left in the first half. Ashley Waslo had four points and five rebounds for the Rockets.
Prairie Ridge 43, Dundee-Crown 19: At Carpentersville, Zoe Nanos buried a pair of three-pointers on her way to a game-high 16 points as the Wolves took care of the Chargers in FVC action. Charlotte Stewart and Ashling Otte had five points each for DC.
Huntley 59, McHenry 8: At McHenry, Anna Campanelli scored 15 points as the Red Raiders remained undefeated. Isabella Boskey, Evie Freundt and Paula Strzelecki added eight points each for Huntley.
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart 54, Alden-Hebron 41: At Rockford, the Giants dropped the Northeastern Athletic Conference contest to the Guardians. Rileigh Gaddini had 12 points to lead A-H, Hayden Smith added 11 and Teagan Vanderstappen had eight.

Freeport 57, Marengo 18: At Marengo, the Indians fell to the Pretzels in a dual meet.
Marengo 54, St. Francis 24: At Marengo, the Indians defeated the Spartans in a dual meet.
Boys swimming
Cary-Grove co-op 98, Jacobs co-op 71: At Cary, the Trojans captured the 200-yard medley relay on their way to the FVC meet win. Charlie Edwards and Logan Kane were among the winners for C-G. Luke Johnson won a pair of events for Jacobs.
Girls bowling
Woodstock 2,732, Harvard 2,332: At Harvard, Ava Caldwell led the Blue Streaks with a top series of 609 and Torin Deacon rolled a 240 high game to lead Woodstock in the Fox Valley/Kishwaukee River Conference win.
Macie Norgard rolled a 458 series to lead the Hornets.
Grayslake Central 2,808, McHenry 1,878: At Grayslake, Emily Carpenter led the Warriors with a 570 series and 237 high game.
