Jacobs 54, Crystal Lake South 29: At Algonquin, the Golden Eagles won the Fox Valley Conference match, winning three matches by forfeit and receiving pins from Anthony Martinez (113 pounds), Ben Arbotante (126), Luke Flaskamp (150), Conner Zacarias (157), Owen Piazza (175) and Bobby Nuwsiima (190).

Recording falls for South were Christopher Talbert (106), Logan Eugenio (120), Nathan Randle (132) and Aiden Marrello (144).

Cary-Grove 35, McHenry 32: At Cary, the Trojans eked out the FVC win, as Lucas Burton (285), Hunter Lenz (120) and William Miller (136) recorded pins.

McHenry got pins from Nolan Simonton (175) and Ryan Hanson (132).

Hampshire 45, Burlington Central 32: At Burlington, the Whip-Purs won the FVC dual as Michael Brannigan (157), Aric Abbott (165), Aidan Rowells (175), Uriah Beamon (215), Knox Homola (285) and Deegan Kirschke (113) notched pins.

Central received pins from Oscar Nelson (106) and Berry Yildirim (138).

Girls bowling

Woodstock 2,809, Johnsburg 2,160: At Raymond’s Bowl in Johnsburg, Ava Caldwell rolled a 519 series with a high game of 182 to lead the visiting Blue Streaks to the victory.

Johnsburg’s Julie McCue had a match-best 528 series, which included a high game of 187.
