To the business owners (especially those small ones!) in the area: Please consider sending an upcoming leader in your company to Leadership Greater McHenry County. It is a wonderful opportunity for the employee to learn and embrace the inner workings of McHenry County.
As a transplant to this county, LGMC changed my life: It highlighted many of the gems of our great county as well as offered leadership opportunities to serve our great communities. This 10 month-long program showcases our government, law and justice, health care, and education system as well as give lessons in leadership, team building, and other ways to be a servant leader.
LGMC is a training ground for the executive directors of your favorite charities, the elected officials that serve our governments, those volunteering on boards, and those supporting our school systems, local business chambers and cities. With over 600 alumni, it is a wonderful opportunity for leaders to connect and strengthen our county’s future through inspiration and education.
