A warrant was issued Thursday for a man accused of breaking into a Woodstock apartment, stealing $300 and threatening a resident with a gun, according to McHenry County court records.
Christopher J. Holman, 22, is charged with Class X felonies of home invasion with a firearm and armed robbery. He also is charged with aggravated robbery, burglary and robbery.
According to the complaint, Holman is accused of entering a Woodstock apartment at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday armed with a gun. He struck a woman “in the head and face area” and “repeatedly pointed” the gun at her while “yelling at her and threatening to kill her,” according to the complaint.
Holman also is accused of taking $300 in cash from the apartment.
After leaving, Holman then called the woman while police officers were present and “admitted that he was recently in the apartment and threatened to return to the apartment to kill [the] victim,” according to the complaint.
The complaint does not list a potential address for Holman.
