A magic show that had been planned for Saturday, Feb. 1 at Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry has been postponed because of illness.
The family-friendly event featuring magician Kevin Sarnwick will be rescheduled as soon as possible, the church announced. The event had been featured in the Northwest Herald’s “5 Things to Do” feature in Thursday’s print edition.
Attendees had been encouraged to bring a nonperishable food or personal care item for the Friends in Service Here of McHenry Food Pantry. Check the church’s website for a new date for the magic show: treeoflifeuu.org.
