Wonder Lake house fire causes heavy damage Sunday; donations requested

The Wonder Lake Fire Protection District responded to a house fire on Sunday, Feb. 9, on Shady Lane that left the home severely damaged.

A house fire Sunday afternoon in Wonder Lake left a family looking for clothing and pet supplies.

According to a Facebook post from a Wonder Lake Fire Protection District spokesman, the department is taking donations of:

  • Female footwear, Size 8
  • Female shirts, Small
  • Female pants, Size 2
  • Male pants, 36x34
  • Male shirts, Large
  • Undergarments (L male, S female)
  • 2 litter boxes & cat litter
  • Grain-free dog & cat food

Donations are being accepted from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., at Station 2, 3315 W. Thompson Road, on west wide of Wonder Lake.
