Dillon Orozco scored a game-high 22 points, and Hinsdale Central cooled off hot-shooting Burlington Central to rally from seven points down in the third quarter for a 70-65 win in the quarterfinals of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic.

Cary-Grove junior guard AJ Berndt led the way with 15 points, six assists and four steals Friday as the Trojans beat Geneva 59-46 to place fifth at Jacobs' Hinkle Holiday Classic.

Marian Central senior Finn Pivnicka scored a combined 76 points in back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes, including a career-high 40 points against Schaumburg Christian. Pivnicka is the Northwest Herald Athlete of the Week.
