Hampshire senior Anneliese Tavira won the 170-pound championship Saturday at the Schaumburg Sectional to earn her first trip to state. Tavira is the Northwest Herald Athlete of the Week.

Richmond-Burton's Emmett and Lelan Nelson have relied on each other during their successful seasons. Now the brothers will lean on each other this weekend as they each try to win state titles, starting Thursday at the State Farm Center in Champaign.
