Huntley is enjoying one of its best starts ever and earned back-to-back comeback wins against state-ranked opponents to move to 15-0, while Johnsburg freshmen twin sisters Summer and Skye Toussaint have already turned heads in this week's Northwest Herald girls basketball notes.

Huntley improved to 15-0 with a 55-51 win over Prospect on Saturday.

Johnsburg made it a point to move the ball around as much as possible in Saturday's rematch against McHenry. The Skyhawks, led by 11 points and 10 rebounds from freshman Skye Toussaint, were successful in a 41-31 victory.

Ellie Mjaanes scored a game-high 21 points and hit five 3-pointers, and Malaina Kurth hit a go-ahead 3-pointer as Cary-Grove rallied from a four-point deficit in the fourth quarter to edge host Rolling Meadows 41-39.
