Alyssa Crenshaw, Dundee-Crown, sr., F
Crenshaw was among only a handful of players to average a double-double at 15.6 points and 10.8 rebounds a game. The Chargers finished with a .500 record but placed third in the Fox Valley Conference Tournament. Crenshaw will play next year at NAIA St. Xavier University.

Jennifer Heinberg, Marengo, sr., G
Heinberg, the 2021 Northwest Herald Girls Basketball Player of the Year, led the Indians to a perfect season in the Kishwaukee River Conference with a 10-0 record. She averaged 18.2 points, six rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.9 steals a game for Marengo, which won its third consecutive KRC title.

Karsen Karlblom, Prairie Ridge, jr., G
Karlblom led all area players at 19.4 points a game and an 88.9% free-throw percentage and was second with 39 3-pointers. The Wolves had a losing record but made it to the FVC Tournament semifinals and finished fourth.

Emily Lukowski, Cary-Grove, jr., G
Lukowski averaged 15 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.2 blocks a game for the Trojans, who placed third in the FVC regular-season standings with a 6-2 record, which included a six-game winning streak.

Elana Wells, Burlington Central, sr., G
Wells led the Rockets to FVC regular-season and tournament titles, averaging 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 steals and three steals a game. Burlington was unbeaten in 10 FVC games and went 13-2 overall. Wells will play next year at NCAA Division II Indianapolis.
