1. Crystal Lake South (14-2): The Gators’ 14-match winning streak to start the season came to an end Saturday with a loss to St. Viator in the Prospect Invite championship. South then fell to Cary-Grove, 13-25, 25-19, 25-22, but still leads the Fox Valley Conference at 10-1.

2. Huntley (9-4): The Red Raiders ended a three-match losing skid Tuesday with a sweep over McHenry. Huntley is second in the FVC at 8-3.

3. Jacobs (10-6): The Golden Eagles lost their last two matches against Crystal Lake South and Crystal Lake Central, falling into third place in the FVC at 7-4.

4. Woodstock North (15-2): The Thunder have rattled off 14 consecutive wins since a 1-1 start and lead the Kishwaukee River Conference at 5-0. North ended a perfect first half of the conference season with a sweep over crosstown rival Woodstock and has yet to drop a set in KRC matches.

5. Cary-Grove (9-7): The Trojans break into the power rankings for the first time this year after handing Crystal Lake South its first FVC loss. C-G has won three straight matches and is fourth in the FVC at 6-5.
