Registration now is open for McHenry County College’s Kids and College program, which offers summer classes for students entering first through ninth grade.
New classes start each week from June 13 to July 25, and most classes are available in one-week sessions that run Monday through Thursday, or three-day sessions, Tuesday through Thursday.
Participants can choose from morning classes from 9 a.m. to noon, afternoon classes from 1 to 4 p.m., or both. If both are chosen, a supervised lunch period is provided from 12 to 1 p.m.
Summer 2022 courses are available in astronomy, writing, street painting, movie making, crime scene investigation, rocket science and aviation, game design and welding.
Students will be placed in their appropriate grade level groups of 20 to 25 campers. Courses are taught by teachers, MCC faculty and camp counselors.
