Twin Peaks restaurant to open in Algonquin in March

Twin Peaks plan to open in March 2025 at the former Bulldog Ale House space in Algonquin.

Twin Peaks restaurant is bringing its food and drinks to Algonquin.

The sports lodge, which proudly touts its 29-degree draft beer served in frosted mugs, offers a menu of scratch-made food and handcrafted cocktails.

The company said they plan to open in March in Algonquin Commons at 1520 S. Randall Road, according to a news release..

“This new location will be the go-to spot for fans to gather with friends and family to enjoy great food, drinks, and game-day excitement,” local franchisee Michael Paulhus of Dos Montes Algonquin LLC said in the release. “We look forward to hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening in March to celebrate with the community.”

The 11,400-square-foot lodge will be the third Twin Peaks location in the suburbs, joining restaurants in Warrenville and Oakbrook Terrace. There are 116 Twin Peaks lodges in the U.S. and Mexico.

The Algonquin location will offer dozens of TVs broadcasting professional and college sports. It will have two full bars, three indoor fireplaces, an outdoor fire pit, covered and uncovered patios and a VIP lounge.

Signature dishes from the menu include the Peaks Sampler, Philly cheesesteak, the Smokestack Burger, flatbread pizzas, and smoked and grilled wings.

Beer drinkers can choose from 32 different brews on draft, served at 29 degrees. Their specialty cocktail menu includes creations like the Bourbon Espresso Martini with an Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon base, the Mezcal Passion Fruit Mule, and a Spicy Strawberry Margarita.

The new lodge will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11 to 1 a.m. Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and late-night from 10 p.m. to midnight.

The company says they’ll be hiring about 150 team members locally. Available positions include servers, bartenders, line cooks, dishwashers and support staff.
