Oak Grove Road north of Harvard reopened following ‘police activity’, sheriff’s office says

Oak Grove Road between Reese Road and Route 14 north of Harvard was reopened more than three hours after it was closed “until further notice due to police activity,” the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office said in an alert Wednesday afternoon.

The original closure was announced a little before 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

No further information on the closure was available.
