A new health care provider for children through adults opened in Crystal Lake.
Led by partner Chelsey Lesniak, Pure Family Healthcare’s mission is to “provide compassionate, patient-centered, high-quality care,” according to a news release from the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Cary-Grove chamber held a ribbon cutting to celebrate Pure Family Healthcare’s grand opening on Sept. 8 with the Crystal Lake, Algonquin/Lake In the Hills and Huntley chambers of commerce.
Lesniak is a family nurse practitioner with full practice authority, according to the release. She began her career as a paramedic and has a background in emergency and intensive care medicine, flight medicine and medical aesthetics.
She graduated magna cum laude from Purdue University in 2018 with a Master of Science, according to the release. She also is passionate about travel and medicine in lesser developed countries and has developed several outreach programs and medical clinics in west Africa.
“I am excited to establish Pure Family Healthcare as the area’s premier health and wellness center,” Lesniak said in a statement. “We want you to step out of big box medicine and enter a personal relationship, one where you and your health care provider work together to find the healthiest and best you.”
Located at 750 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Unit A, Crystal Lake, Pure Family Healthcare offers morning, evening and weekend hours and same-day appointments, along with telehealth visits.
