State Rep. Suzanne Ness, D-Crystal Lake, will be hosting a town hall meeting Wednesday in Crystal Lake to discuss her legislative priorities for 2022.

The meeting will be hosted at 6 p.m. at the Community Foundation, 33 E. Woodstock St. in Crystal Lake.

“It’s been a busy year, and in keeping with my commitment to inform the public of important legislation, I am happy to host this end of year town hall as a way to stay connected to my district,” Ness said in a statement.

The 66th House District runs from Crystal Lake and Lakewood in the north through Lake in the Hills, Huntley and Algonquin into Kane County, where it also includes Gilberts, Sleepy Hollow and West Dundee.

Ness said the Illinois General Assembly passed many important pieces of legislation in 2021 that impact residents of her district, such as legislation to encourage the use of clean energy sources.

Ness will discuss this legislation and others that impact how her constituents can access state services, according to a news release. She will take questions and comments from those in attendance.
