Crystal Lake-based Community High School District 155′s board approved a new chief officer of finance and operations at its meeting Tuesday evening.
Kevin Werner, currently the chief financial officer for Prairie Grove School District 46, will start in his new position on July 1, replacing Jeremy Davis. Davis is set to become the assistant superintendent of finance and operations at North Shore School District 112.
Werner’s salary, of $162,500, was approved at Tuesday’s board meeting.

“He brings a unique background and comprehensive skill set to the role and has showcased his dedication to this community throughout his time in education,” Olson said in the statement.
Werner has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, health care and financial service, with the last nine years in the education field, according to a news release.
