Two-vehicle crash in McHenry sends one car rolling over, briefly trapping driver

No injuries resulted from the two-vehicle crash in McHenry Wednesday night

A two-vehicle crash in McHenry Wednesday night led to one car rolling over and briefly trapping its driver, but no injuries.

McHenry Township Fire Protection crews responded at 10:06 p.m. to the intersection at Route 31 and Bull Valley Road, Deputy Chief Steven Spraker said.

When crews arrived, they found one vehicle on its side, with the sole occupant trapped inside. To get the driver out, fire personnel cut out the front windshield of the car.

No one reported any injuries as a result of the crash and no one needed to be taken to the hospital, Spraker said.

Fire crews were at the scene for about 23 minutes, including about 10 minutes needed to extricate the person from the rolled-over car, Spraker said.
