A new ice cream shop in Cary formally celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting with the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.
Cary Dairy Ice Cream Café, located at 395 Cary-Algonquin Road, Unit E, in Cary, opened its doors in mid-January and has offering high-quality ice cream as well as baked goods and coffee since then, according to its Facebook page.
The ribbon-cutting took place May 21, according to a news release from the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.
Cary Dairy Ice Cream Café is owned by a local firefighter, Randy Scott, and his wife, Meredith, according to the release.
