Letter: A conversation between Putin and Trump

To the editor:

President Vladimir Putin and former President Donald Trump have a conversation.

Trump tells Putin: “I believe you when you say you didn’t interfere with our presidential election.” Putin says to Trump: “I wanted you to be president. You are a dream for me and Russia. You threaten NATO to end USA support. You keep the United States people divided, not united, that is good for Russia.”

Trump: “Mr. Putin, I wish to build a 100-story hotel in Moscow, I hope you understand.” Trump’s attitude toward Putin continues: “I admire you Mr. Putin. I would really love to have the power you have and rule over the American people with an iron fist as you rule over the Russian people. No one dares argue with you. Without being imprisoned, poisoned, assassinated or disappeared. Good job Mr. Putin. We are against socialism but what you have in Russian, Mr. Putin, is an extraordinary miracle. ... I admire your power and I would love your power and I will do anything to gain it; truth, who needs it when you have power. Mr. Putin if I run again for president I will establish the right to fire anyone in the executive branch including the vice president. If I had that power before, just imagine what would have happened.”
