Join Raue Center for Lucy’s Comedy Live and GreenRoom Improv in January!

Lucy’s Comedy Live is the best stand-up comedy in the burbs! Raue Center For The Arts brings the best stand-up comics in the Chicagoland area close to home with Lucy’s Comedy, Raue Center’s longest-running program, curated by comic and radio personality John DaCosse.

Join us on January 17, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. for headliner Steven Haas, featuring Tory Ward and hosted by Mike Preston.

Steven Haas is a stand-up comedian and filmmaker based out of Chicago. Steven’s stand-up comedy and sketch comedy have garnered him hundreds of thousands of followers across social media. In addition to his own projects, Steven has been featured on TV shows such as Chicago’s One Night Stand-up and Nashville Tonight.

Originating from the Pacific Northwest, Tory Ward combines her amiable, light-hearted personality with sardonic humor, creating a singularly hilarious experience. She has performed in festivals nationwide, including Limestone Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, and 10,000 Laughs. She has opened for comics such as Kyle Kinane and Marc Maron.

Mike Preston has worked in comedy clubs and sordid one-nighters from coast to coast for over thirty years and has made several TV appearances, including Showtime’s Comedy Club and NBC’s Friday Night.

On Friday, January 18 at 7 p.m., experience family-friendly, interactive improv with GreenRoom Improv! For over 20 years, GreenRoom Improv has performed nationally for a wide range of audiences and events. Join them at Raue Center for a whole new year of clean, family-friendly, high-energy, multi-faceted improv comedy. Additional engagements are scheduled for Friday, February 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 14 at 8 p.m.
