Cancellation Terms and Conditions


Subscription Overview


Shaw Media offers print and digital subscriptions on both an annual and monthly basis. By subscribing, you agree to the following cancellation terms.


Print Subscriptions


  • All print subscriptions come with unlimited digital access and also include up to 12 premium issues each calendar year. Your account will be charged an additional fee of up to $4 in the billing period when the premium issue publishes. This will result in shortening the length of your billing period. You can opt out of premium issues by contacting customer service at 866-979-1053. The Thanksgiving Day paper is considered a holiday premium edition that is part of all subscription packages.
  • Future prices of your subscription may be higher. We reserve the right to increase rates at any time. You will be notified in advance of any change in rates. In addition to premium issues described above, pay through dates will be affected by different factors, including but not limited to, changes in delivery, service adjustments, and interruptions in service.
  • If your subscription is terminated and you have a credit balance of more than $3.00 with us, a refund will be issued. This may take up to sixty (60) days following termination.

Digital Subscriptions


Annual Digital Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are paid in full at the time of purchase and are valid for a period of 12 months. These subscriptions are non-refundable, and no partial refunds or credits will be issued if the subscription is canceled before the end of the term. All subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Upon renewal, no partial refunds or credits will be issued if the subscription is canceled more than 14 days after renewal.



Monthly Digital Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed on a month-to-month basis. Subscribers may cancel their monthly subscription at any time before their next billing cycle to avoid further charges. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refunds or prorated credits will be issued for any remaining days within the billing period.


How to Cancel

Subscribers can cancel their subscription by logging into their account and selecting the cancellation option in the subscription settings. Alternatively, cancellation requests may be submitted via email to subscriptions@shawmedia.com or through our customer support portal.


Access After Cancellation

For annual subscribers, access to digital content will continue until the end of the prepaid subscription period. For monthly subscribers, access will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.


Changes to Subscription Terms

We reserve the right to modify our subscription terms, including pricing and cancellation policies, at any time. Any changes will be communicated to subscribers via email or through our website.
