Picture perfect weather graced the 2024 German Valley Days July 19-20. The event included a parade, kids events, and a pork chop dinner for the German Valley Fire Department.
Brass from the Past, a tribute to the legends of rock and soul music, got an estimated crowd of 1,200 rockin’ to their tunes on the opening night of the Jamboree Concert Series. The Chicago-based band kicked off the 12th season of free concerts on the Campus in the village’s downtown. The free concerts are held each Friday night throughout the summer with the music starting at 7 p.m.
Kids found the Oregon Park District's Splash Pad as the perfect way to cool off while having some fun on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. The park district held a Pop Up and Play during the afternoon at the free Splash Pad, located in Oregon Park West. Water toys and a bubble machine added to the day's event.
