Firefighters from four counties were dispatched to Marquis Energy for a fire at about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021. The fire was located inside a pipe in the roof of a dryer building. The pipe was hard to access therefore causing a harder time for firefighters to extinguish. (Scott Anderson)

Firefighters from four counties were dispatched to Marquis Energy in Hennepin for a fire at about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The fire was located inside a pipe in the roof of a dryer building. The pipe was hard to access therefore causing a harder time for firefighters to extinguish, but the fire was minor. The plant remained open and there were no injuries reported.
