Walnut native Elijah Lind receives prestigious fraternity award

MONMOUTH – Monmouth College student Elijah Lind of Walnut is among 10 recipients who have received the Frank J. Ruck Leadership Award.

The award is presented to a chapter or an individual who shows outstanding leadership and makes significant changes on the campus as a whole.

Lind is an economics major and Bureau Valley High School graduate. He is a member of the Gamma chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, which he initially joined his freshman year of college. He is serving his third term as chapter president. The award was for his work helping increase brotherhood events for chapter cohesiveness.
