Dixon Park District makes donation in name of Marine and seasonal employee

DIXON- The Dixon Park District made a $1,000 donation to the Dixon American Legion Post 12 Tuesday in the name of former employee Doug Near.

Near, a former Marine, worked for the park district for 12 years as a seasonal employee in the maintenance department.
