Students meet to ‘pray at the pole’

Students and teachers at Christ Lutheran School, Sterling, joined with students around the country to gather at the flagpole Sept. 27. This global day of prayer was started in 1990 by students as a way to encourage fellow students to gather together to pray. Students and teachers gathered around the flagpole to pray for friends, families, the United States and the world.
