EFFINGHAM-TEUTOPOLIS CHRISTMAS CLASSIC

Dixon 55, Lutheran North 47: Darius Harrington broke three tournament records as the Dukes won the consolation championship Saturday. Harrington scored a tournament-record 36 points twice, finishing with the most points in a tournament (138) and a career at the tournament (261). Landon Wolfe previously held the record for points in a single tournament. Harrington was named to the all-tournament team.

Oregon 57, Belvidere 47: Benny Olalde led Oregon with 16 points, Keaton Salsbury scored 13, and Cooper Johnson and Jackson Caposey each scored 11 in the win.

Taylorville tournament

Rochester 74, Sterling 66 (OT): The Golden Warriors fell short in the championship game after three straight wins. Kaedon Phillips and Maddux Osborn earned all-tournament for Sterling.

ERIE-PROPHETSTOWN TOURNAMENT

Riverdale 68, Morrison 55: Dawson Hepner led Morrison with 23 points in the loss.

STATE FARM HOLIDAY CLASSIC

Eastland 67, Rock Falls 51: The Cougars used a 20-9 run in the second quarter to take control. Peyton Spears led Eastland with 29 points, Parker Krogman had 21, and Adam Awender scored 13 in the win.

Eastland 47, Fieldcrest 43 (OT): Eastland held off Fieldcrest in overtime to win the small-school boys consolation championship. Krogman (15), Spears (13) and Awender (12) led the Eastland scoring.

LaMOILLE TOURNAMENT

Amboy 55, LaMoille 45: The Clippers won the third-place game as Eddie Jones was named to the all-tournament team after scoring 16 points in the win. Quinn Leffelman also scored 16 for Amboy.

Girls basketball

KSB CLASSIC

Eastland 47, Jefferson 32: Olivia Klinefelter had 19 points and 15 rebounds as the Cougars closed the tournament with a win. Sienna Peterson added 13 points for Eastland (5-11).

STATE FARM HOLIDAY CLASSIC

Normal University 54, Rock Falls 16: Miley Bickett led the Rockets with 12 points in a loss.

ERIE-PROPHETSTOWN TOURNAMENT

Kewanee 58, Bureau Valley 48: The Storm fell short after the game was tied at halftime. Kadyn Haage led BV with 12 points, and Brooke Helms and Emily Wright scored 10 each.

AMBOY TOURNAMENT

Newman 36, Amboy 19: Elaina Allen led Newman with 15 points in the win. Tyrah Vaessen’s seven points paced Amboy.
