Fulton 58, Morrison 47: Jacob Voss led the Steamers with 21 points in the road win.
Eastland 72, Polo 23: The Cougars rolled as Adam Awender scored a game-high 27 points and Parker Krogman added 14.
Ashton-Franklin Center 53, Amboy 49: Aaron Lester (14 points) and Nolan Reuff (15) led the way for A-FC in the win. Eddie Jones led Amboy with 21 points.
Pecatonica 69, Forreston 57: The Cardinals fell at home to the top-ranked team in Class 1A. Kendall Erdmann led Forreston with 23 points and Brendan Greenfield had 13.
Boys wrestling
Forreston’s Lucas Nelson hits century mark: Lucas Nelson of the Polo wrestling co-op got his 100th and 101st win as he recorded two technical falls at 132 pounds on Thursday. The co-op beat Winnebago 44-29 and fell to Lena 70-8.
Girls basketball
Stillman Valley 49, Rock Falls 15: The Rockets fell to Class 2A’s No. 2 team according to the Associated Press as Elizabeth Lombardo scored seven points and Miley Bickett had six.
Brimfield 58, Bureau Valley 49: The Storm fell short after being outscored 18-5 in the first quarter. Libby Endress had 11 points and Emily Wright scored 10 for BV.
Boys bowling
Dixon 3996, Sterling 3080: Dixon improved to 10-0 as Wyatt Miller’s 760 series led the team on senior night and Aaron Fitzanko had a 278 high game. Cody Geil added a 725 for Dixon an Bryce Kooy led Sterling with a 618.
St. Bede 2866, Erie-Prophetstown 2865: The Panthers fell by just a hair as Jonah Connelly led the team with a 566 series and Brenden Boggs-Chavez rolled a 506.
Oregon 3778, Rockford Christian 2857: Gavvin Surmo’s 707 led Oregon as the Hawks (14-1) tallied their second highest team total of the season.
Girls bowling
Sterling 3157, Geneseo 2634: Sterling improved to 8-0 as Sarah Doughty again led the team with a 675 (202-225-248) series. Delilah Michels was second on the team with a 526.
Dixon 2761, United Township 2505: The Duchesses improved to 7-2 in duals as Addison Cox led the team with a 499.
Oregon 2275, Rockford Christian 1782: Katylyn Miller’s 484 series led the Hawks in the dual win.
