Dixon 42, Sterling 26: The Dukes won eight matches in the dual win at home on senior night. Dixon’s Charlie Connors (138 pounds) and James Simpson (144) scored pins, along with Will Howell (190) and Leroy Higley (106). Riley Paredes had a 15-0 technical fall at 113 pounds for the Dukes.
Tatum Allen had Sterling’s lone pin at 157 pounds.
Girls bowling
Sterling 3,077, Dixon 2,854: The Golden Warriors improved to 9-0 in dual meets after Sarah Doughty’s 676 series and 249 game led the team. Kara Garcia had a 508 and Olivia Barton rolled a 505 for Sterling.
Addison Cox led Dixon with a 582 series and Madelyn Bird tallied a 532.
Boys bowling
Dixon 3520, South Beloit 3481: The Dukes improved to 11-0 in dual meets to win the conference title. Cody Geil had a high series of 624 and Daniel Sotelo’s 255 was high game for Dixon.
Boys basketball
Eastland 95, Morrison 33: Adam Awender erupted for 37 points in just three quarters in the Eastland win. Peyton Spears added 15 points and Parker Krogman had 13 for Eastland.
Milledgeville 64, Orangeville 32: Micah Toms-Smith led the Missiles with 16 points and Konner Johnson scored 14 in the road win. Karter Livengood also chipped in with 13 points for Milledgeville.
Stillman Valley 46, Amboy 36: The Clippers dropped a fifth straight game after the home loss to the Cardinals. Ezra Parker led Amboy with 19 points.
Girls basketball
Newman 60, Riverdale 50: Brooklyn Smith led the Comets with 19 points and Lucy Oetting had 18 in the home win. Smith hit five 3-pointers for Newman (16-6) in a third straight win.
Sterling 72, United Township 26: Jae James scored 19 points and Delali Amankwa added 13 in the Western Big 6 Conference road win for Sterling (17-3, 6-1).
Knoxville 54, Bureau Valley 38: The Storm led 30-29 at halftime before falling short after the break. Brooke Helms led BV with nine points.
Oregon 45, Dakota 34: Aniyah Sarver’s 16 points led the Hawks to a home win after leading 28-13 at halftime. Ella Dannhorn added nine points for Oregon (9-9).
