FYI: The Dukes went 13-0 in dual meets this season and also won the NIBC. Wyatt Miller rolled a school record 1,463 six-game series at the LaSalle-Peru tournament and a 793 three-game series for the school record. Aaron Fitzanko, Cody Geil, Daniel Sotelo and David Laird have also bowled three-game series above 700 at various times this season. Dixon rolled a 5,956 at the L-P tournament and took first at the Oregon tournament with a 6,212.
The Dukes took fourth at last year’s regional with a 5,755 series and Sterling (4,857) was 14th. Miller led Dixon last year with a 1,200 at the regional, with Geil, Laird and Sotelo also scoring. No other area boys bowlers advanced to the sectional last season.
Bryce Kooy and Preston Near have led Sterling this season. Near rolled a 1,143 at the Oregon Invite and Kooy had a 1,112. Near bowled a personal-best 607 three-game series this season.

FYI: The Hawks went 14-3 in dual meets this season. Gavvin Surmo took second at the Belvidere Invite with a 1,375 six-game series and also had the top three-game series of 739 at the Dixon tournament. The Hawks took second as a team at the Belvidere Invite with a season-high 6,380 total from RJ Keene (618), Caleb Brooks (588), Ethan Smice (700), Matthew Stahl (150), Surmo (713) and Caleb Ehrler (396).
