Amboy 45, Morrison 40: The Clippers rallied from a 23-14 halftime deficit to take the home win. Eddie Jones scored 15 points and Quinn Leffelman had 10 for Amboy. Brayden Rubright led Morrison with 12 points.

Eastland 49, Milledgeville 30: Parker Krogman led the Cougars with 23 points in the road win. Micah Toms-Smith led the Missiles with 12 points.

Polo 68, Ashton-Franklin Center 35: Mercer Mumford led Polo with 17 points, Gus Mumford added 12 and JT Stephenson scored 10 as 10 different Marcos scored in the home win. Nolan Reuff led the Raiders with 10 points.

Girls basketball

Wethersfield 53, Bureau Valley 30: Emily Wright had nine points and Brooke Helms scored seven in the Storm loss.

Boys wrestling

Galesburg 36, Sterling 35: Sterling fell just short in the Western Big 6 Conference matchup. Earning pins for Sterling were Cael Lyons, Tatum Allen and Evan Jones.

Polo splits two: Polo beat Boylan 52-18 and fell to Byron 70-10 in dual action. Lucas Nelson got a pin against Byron and a won by forfeit against Boylan at 138 pounds. Jaidyn McKinney (144) earned an 11-0 major decision against Byron and won by pin against Boylan.

Girls wrestling

Galesburg 42, Sterling 36: Vivianna Torres had a pin for Sterling in the dual setback.

Boys bowling

Dixon 3,704, Mendota 3,403: The Dukes wrapped up the regular season with a 13-0 dual record as Cody Geil’s 774 series and 268 game led the way.
