Rock Falls Culver’s assistant manager joins national training team

Culver’s of Rock Falls Assistant Manager Braeden Thome has been accepted onto the Culver’s National Training Team.

ROCK FALLS – Culver’s of Rock Falls is celebrating Assistant Manager Braeden Thome’s recent acceptance onto the Culver’s National Training Team.

Thome began his career with Culver’s in July 2021 before his sophomore year of high school. He quickly got to work learning the various operations of the establishment and working his way up to shift manager by the start of his senior year.

“There’s a lot of steps to become a manager at our store,” said Thome, a True Blue Crew member. “First, you learn a specialist position. I was a specialist in the drive-thru. Then I became a front leader and joined the leadership team towards the end of my junior year. After that, I did some more training and got a mentor, and then I became a shift manager. I was recently appointed to assistant manager.”

Thome has long-term ambitions to join the ranks of Culver’s franchise owners and applied to join the NTT before undergoing evaluations with a franchise business consultant. As an NTT member, he will be required to travel and support new Culver’s locations before and after their grand openings.

“I have an amazing team of people at my restaurant that constantly encourage me,” Thome said. “I also have a passion for what I do, and I think that’s important.”
