Boys basketball

Morrison 61, Milledgeville 48: Asher Ernst scored a game-high 25 points, hitting six 3-pointers, in the Mustangs' win Monday. Micah Toms-Smith led the Missiles with 16 points.

Lena-Winslow 74, Newman 52: After leading 38-33 at halftime, the Comets went cold as they were outscored 41-14 in the second half. George Jungerman led Newman with 19 points, Evan Bushman scored 18, and John Rowzee had 10 in the setback.

Oregon 59, Amboy 45: The Hawks (12-12) were led by Cooper Johnson, Keaton Salsburg and Kade Girton, who all scored 13 points. Nole Campos added 11 points for Oregon in the balanced effort. Eddie Jones and Quinn Leffelman led Amboy (8-12) with 11 points each.

Eastland 70, River Ridge 44: Peyton Spears scored 19 points, Parker Krogman had 17, Adam Awender had 14, and Zy Haverland had 11 in the Cougars' win.

Girls basketball

Forreston 38, Kirkland-Hiawatha 23: Hannah Vinnedge led the Cardinals with 11 points, and Koster added 10 in the win.

Fulton 46, West Carroll 30: Kylie Smither had 13 points, and Haley Smither scored eight in the Steamers' home win.

Princeville 47, Bureau Valley 32: Emily Wright led BV with nine points in the setback.

Girls bowling

Sterling 3,039, Erie-Prophetstown 2,497: Sterling improved to 10-1 in dual meets with a win on senior night as Sarah Doughty led the team with a 648 series and 247 game. Olivia Barton added a 565 series and 213 game for the Golden Warriors. Ysabell Hamm led E-P with a 460 series.

Oregon 1,632, Rockford Lutheran 1,579: In a matchup of two teams with only four bowlers, Oregon pulled out the team win as Carli Bailey’s 479 led the Hawks. Katlyn Miller rolled a 440, and Savannah Nagy had a 437 series.
