Amboy 61, Ashton-Franklin Center 46: Amboy’s Eddie Jones scored 31 points to eclipse 1,000 for his career and run his total to 1,025. Justin Henert led the Raiders with 12 points and Aaron Lester scored 11.

Sterling 82, Riverdale 68: The Golden Warriors (12-13) jumped out to a 27-9 lead after one quarter in the home win. Maddux Osborn hit 5-of-7 3-pointers and scored a career-high 23 points with seven rebounds and six assists in the win.

Eastland 92, Polo 37: The Cougars erupted for 84 points through three quarters in the road win. Peyton Spears led the way with 31 points, Adam Awender scored 25 and Parker Krogman had 11 for Eastland. Mercer Mumford led Polo with 11 points.

Fulton 61, Morrison 38: Braeden Brennan led the Steamers with 16 points, Jacob Voss scored 15 and Landen Leu had 10 in the home win. Brayden Rubright led the Mustangs with 13 points and Brady Ernst scored 10.

Pecatonica 102, Forreston 52: Forreston’s Brendan Greenfield scored a game-high 22 points in the setback to the No. 1 team in the Associated Press Class 1A rankings. The Cardinals trailed 53-29 at halftime as 11 different Pecatonica players went on to score.

Girls basketball

Rockford Christian 53, Newman 48: Gisselle Martin led Newman with 23 points and seven rebounds, but the Comets fell just short in the home setback. Newman was outscored 19-18 in the second half. Lucy Oetting scored eight points and Veronica Haley added seven for the Comets.

Eastland 59, Rock Falls 39: Olivia Klinefelter led Eastland with 24 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in the home win. Tatum Grim was also in double figures for Eastland (14-15). Miley Bickett led the Rockets with 18 points.
