Dixon muni band’s final summer concert Thursday in Page Park

DIXON – Dixon Municipal Band’s last concert of the season begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Page Park Band Shell.

The flute section will play “Beguine for Flutes,” and two Sousa marches – “The Triton” and “Bullets And Bayonets” – will be performed, as well as “Russian Sailors’ Dance,” “Fantasy For Band,” “Under the Big Top” and several other pieces.

In addition to the free concert, there will be door prizes and the Dixon High School Drama Department will sell refreshments.
