OREGON – Project Warm, which provides coats and boots for Oregon school-age children in need, is having a “No Show” fundraiser.

It’s the second time around the Oregon Rotary Club Foundation has held its autumn fundraiser this way in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each year the Rotary raises an average of $4,000. It has distributed a flyer so people can pledge amounts of money by responding they will “not attend” in various ways.

For example, a $10 donation means they will “not attend.” $40 means the entire family will “not attend.” $250 means a company will not sponsor a boat ride.

Donations can be made to Oregon Rotary Club Foundation, P.O. Box 493, Oregon IL 61061.
