Sauk Valley Diversity Alliance to host MLK celebration Jan. 19 in Sterling

STERLING – The Sauk Valley Diversity Alliance will host the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace and Justice Celebration on Sunday, Jan. 19.

The celebration begins at 2 p.m. at the First Church of Nazerene, 411 13th Ave., Sterling.

All are welcome to attend this free celebration that will highlight King’s dream of peace and justice for all and will include music, poetry, educational information, a recognition of community members who exhibited King’s dream and refreshments.
