Photos: Painting party in Sterling

The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a painting party Thursday in Sterling. The event was one of the first in-person events the chamber has organized since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Optimistically entitled “Hop Into Spring,” the class took place even though another round of snow flurries swirled outside Wesley United Methodist Church.

Creating with Ms. Nancy art studeio provided supplies. Instruction was provided by Nancy Lira, assisted by her daughter, Victoria. The instruction was for beginner painters.
