STERLING - Hops on the Rock will be making a comeback on Oct. 9.
Sterling Main Street’s craft beer festival will return from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Sterling Marketplace after a year hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Parking will be available in the municipal lot surrounding the Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Twin City Farmer’s Market, and in the County Market parking lot on the north side of West Third Street.
Designated drivers are encouraged. There is a DD ticket option available for $10, and a designated DD pickup/drop off area set aside near the event entrance for DDs not attending the event.
Breweries are being lined up for the festival, and Sterling Main Street is still seeking food vendors for the event.
The event is only for those age 21 and older, and a valid ID must be shown upon entry to receive a wristband.
No pets are allowed, and no outside food or beverage will be permitted.
General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate. They include a branded sampling glass and 12 sampling tickets. Samples are 2 ounces and additional samples are two for $1.
