Dixon police make two arrests in burglary

DIXON — Two Dixon men were arrested Friday related to the investigation of a burglary involving the theft of money and property at a downtown business.

Andrew L. Ford, 28, of Dixon and Jeremy M. Casiano, 27, of Dixon were apprehended on warrants at their separate places of residence on West Third Street.

Charges of felony burglary, misdemeanor damage to property under $500 and misdemeanor theft under $500 were filed.

Bond on Ford’s warrant was set at $50,000 and bond on Casiano’s warrant was set at $20,000.

Neither suspect posted bond and were turned over to the Lee County Jail.

Dixon police originally investigated the Tuesday report of a burglary at a business in the 100 block of East First Street.
