Goodfellows of Lee County to host free giveaway this week

FRANKLIN GROVE - Goodfellows of Lee County will be having a free giveaway Thursday through Saturday.

The organization has leftover goods from its annual Christmas giveaway, which benefits hundreds of area families every year, and they will be available to anyone from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Franklin Grove Church of the Brethren, 121 W. North St.

Items include festive products for the home and clothing for men, women, and children such as pants, sweatshirts, coats and footwear. There are also some games and smaller toys left over, movies, videos, and books.

Those interested are asked to bring their own bags. Masks are required.
