Gladiator Boxing in Sterling will be sending their fighters to compete in some big matches in the coming months. The club was opened a little more than a year ago by its chief trainer, Steve Mazzarisi. According to its Facebook page, the club offers 1 on 1 training and group training.
Alex Mazzarisi, 20, spars with Javier Marquina, 30, Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022 at Gladiator Boxing Club in Sterling. Trained by his father Steve, Alex will be competing March 7 for the Golden Gloves title in Cicero. With success there, the duo has eyes set on Nationals and the Olympic trials. (Alex T.
