STERLING – Nine people were awarded Sterling American Legion Memorial Scholarships awarded May 15.

Receiving scholarships were Megan Gingrich, Emily Huffman, Braden Hartman, Emma Stroup, Gracey Malmberg, Larissa Miller, Carter Morris, Janessa Rodriguez and Makayla Wolfe.

Bob Bartel, representing the Legion, presented the awards.
