“A preliminary investigation revealed that a northbound vehicle being driven by Abbey Ewald, 32 of Rochelle, traveled off the east edge of the roadway. The vehicle then overturned multiple times before coming to a rest,” the release from the Ogle County sheriff said.
Michael A. Gaston, 67, of Forreston, was arrested on May 2 and charged on six counts of criminal sexual assault, according to police.

Dixon police took possession of a loaded handgun in a male student’s vehicle Monday while it was parked on school property, police said. Administrators at Dixon High School contacted police shortly after noon on Monday.
